in Turkey is in 1976. In 1993, it made process to the
marble sector. The company operates a processing plant
in Ankara and a number of quarries everywhere in Turkey.

Bircan
produces a number of stones , including Rosso Levanto,
Verde Antico RoseTea, Amaretto, AgeanBrown, Brown Pearl,
Black Pearl, Royal Beige, Rosa Aurora(Laguna),Rosalia,French
Smoke,Yellow and Green Onix, Guato and etc. from
its own quarries. Among these, the Brown Pearl is a very
famous and expensive stone. Together with Verde Antico,Brown
Pearl is sought by many architects and
constructors as highly decorative materials. In a
year, our company produces 800 fireplaces and 20.000 m2
antique marble. In the area of the factory, there are
50.000 m2 property stocks.The company produced slabs in
gangsaw sizes filled or unfilled polished or unpolished
tiles from size 15cm x 15 cm x 1cm up to 60 cm x 60 cm x
2 cm calibrated, chamfered filled or unfilled cut to
sizes and special products such as steps, risers,
skirting, Vanity Tops, Window Cills .

The
Bircan stones are used a large number of projects both
in Turkey and abroad. The company has also supplied
large quantities of its products to a private mass
housing project in Azerbaijan,Turkmenistan and Russia.

The company makes use of the Pellegrini equipment in all
of its quarries. The total production capacity of the
Bircan quarries is around 180,000 m3 and the company
employs more than sixty people in its quarry operations..
The processing plant is equipped with one gang saw, two
diamond disc block cutters, one plate calibrating and
polishing machines and a complete faience production
line. Last year, the company produced about 40,000 m2 of
marble faience, 25,000 m2 of cut to size and 25,000 m2
slabs. This year, the company is planning to increase
its faience production up to 50,000 m2, cut to size
production up to 50,000 m2 and slabs up to 30,000 m2.
More than thirty people are employed in the Bircan
processing plant.
Bircan is a very much export oriented company; the
company exported 50% of its production during the 2000
and its target for the 2002 was 75%. Our company
improves itself more from day to day and follows the
technological developments and newnesses at close range.
It is one of the factories which can meet every kinds of
marble and stone demand of Turkey and the world quickly.
